Pentru inceput iti trebuie imaginea DVD bootabila de Mac. Se gaseste pe torrente.
- Dupa ce ai ars imaginea pe DVD trebuie sa creezi o partite PRIMARA de cel putin 7Gb. Daca vrei sa faci multiboot nu seta partitia ca activa.
- Booteaza de pe DVD si cand porneste bootloader-ul da-i un F8, tasteaza -v si da-i Enter. Mie nu mi-a mers programul de instalare decat cu mouse/tastatura pe USB. Nu stiu de ce, dar cele pe PS2 ramaneau blocate in momentul cand pornea instalerul.
- Dupa ce a pornit programul de instalare, selecteaza din meniul utilities – Disk Utility. Selecteaza partitia pe care vrei sa instalezi Mac OS X si da-i Erase selectand ca sistem de fisiere Mac Filesystem (fara journaling). Inchide Disk Utility cand termina si continua cu procesul de instalare.
- Selecteaza Customize si din lista bifati suportul pentru Intel/AMD (in functie de tipul procesorului) si X11. Restul sunt optionale. Next si dupaia pauza vre-o 3-4 ore ca atat dureaza instalarea.
- Restart dupa ce termina si ar trebui sa mearga.

Erori frecvente:
- Cand porneste programul de instalare se opreste la "Still waiting for root device". Apare din cauza ca DVD-ROM-ul si HDD-ul nu sunt pe acelasi cablu. Trebuie sa fie HDD-ul primary master si DVD-ROM-ul primary slave.
- Dupa instalare porneste sistemul dar dupa cateva secunde apare o fereastra pe care apare "Press enter to reboot your computer". Apare atunci cand nu e instalat suportul pentru INTEL/AMD
- Dupa instalare sistemul se blocheaza imediat dupa mesajul "Starting session luncher". Apare atunci cand partitia pe care a fost instalat sistemul de operare Mac OS X nu este de tip primary.

Here's how to do it.

First get the MAC OS X 10.4.8 Intel/AMD SSE2/SS3 DVD. You can get it from Demonoid. Burn that image on a DVD.
Next you need to create a partition for Mac OS. Create a PRIMARY partition with at least 7GB of free space. It doesn't matter what type is the partition and if you plan to do a dual boot don't make that partition active.
Now boot the DVD and press F8 at the bootloader. Type -v and press enter. Now I didn't get the installer to work with a PS2 keyboard and mouse so have a USB keyboard and mouse just in case. When the installer starts, select the language you want to use.
Go to the utilities menu on top and run the disk utility. Select the partition where you want to install Mac OS and erase it using MAC Filesystem without the journaling. After you've erased that partition close the disk utility and proceed with the installer. Select customize and be sure to select in the list X11 and support for AMD or INTEL (depending on what procesor you have). Now leave the computer alone cause the install takes a lot of time. It will first check the DVD for about 20-30min and then install the files wich will take about 2-3 hours. After the install is compleated your new Mac OS should work just fine.

Common erros:
- When you boot from the DVD it hangs giving you an error "Still waiting for root device". That happens if you don't have the DVD-Rom and HDD on the same cable (HDD as primary master, DVD as secondary master).
- After the install the system boots but after a few seconds it gives you a window saying to restart your computer. That happends if you didn't install the INTEL/AMD support.
- After the install the system boots but hangs after "Starting session luncher" message (no graphics displayed). That happends if you didn't make the partition primary
